Christmas Tree Coloring Pages

Who can imagine Christmas or even a winter holiday without a Christmas tree that's beautifully decorated with ornaments and lights and a star on top? When I was a kid we always had a lovely Christmas tree to get us into the Christmas spirit.

Decorating the Christmas tree with the whole family was a yearly ritual that I loved and enjoyed. I loved the smell of the real pine tree we brought into our house for the holidays. First we put the Christmas lights on the tree, then we added the ornaments, and one lucky person could do the honors of placing the star or angel on top of the tree.

To celebrate and prepare for this exciting part of the winter holiday season, here are some Christmas tree coloring pages to print out and enjoy coloring.

I hope the kids enjoyed these Christmas tree coloring pages and got into the Christmas spirit! Have a great holiday, and have fun decorating your tree!

Santa Coloring Sheet

Every year on Christmas Eve, jolly old Saint Nick, or Santa Claus, climbs into his sleigh. Led by Rudolph, his reindeer guide his sleigh to the homes of all the good children of the world to deliver Christmas presents. Santa gently and quietly places the presents under the Christmas tree so that the children don't hear him, and in the morning when they awake there are wonderful presents waiting for them.

Most children like to leave Santa Claus milk and cookies as a thank you for all his hard work. It's not easy flying around the entire world in one evening!

To get in the Christmas spirit, here you can find a Santa coloring sheet to print out and color. These make wonderful decorations for the fridge!

Grinch Coloring Sheets

One of my favorite Dr. Seuss stories, and Christmas stories, is "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". It's a classic book and tv animation special, and more recently renewed by Jim Carrey in his updated portrayal of The Grinch. See the Grinch on tv brings back a lot of childhood memories for me.

Thanks for downloading these Grinch coloring sheets! We all love the Grinch, even though he can be such a SCROOGE! Bah humbug! But he becomes good (mostly) in the end, so we can all be his friend!
